A look behind the lens: Behind the scenes of our Debut Campaign

July 2nd. Saturday. 6.45am call time.

It's early, and it's cold. The sun and the city are still sleeping. Coffee is a necessity. The team arrives promptly, most are even early, and we begin the hectic day.

Shoot days are one of the most exciting days of the season, and equally one of the most stressful. It's a day where dreams are finally realised, where visions come to life. It's incredibly rewarding to see months of hard work behind the scenes finally start to pay off and things start to feel real.

Shoot days are always a big undertaking, the list of content to capture is long, and everything always takes longer than expected. You'll glance at your phone to see 2 hours has passed in the blink of an eye and you feel like you haven't even gotten started. The ability to be flexible and pivot on shoots is key, whether it's to change out a look, a location or regroup quickly and create a new shot sequence when something isn't working, it really is make or break.

Setting the first shot always takes the longest. From there, things start to flow, we get into a rhythm. At any given time there are at least 8 people on set, so you're constantly ducking and shifting positions to get out of the way but get your own task done.

Everyone is busy, and everyone has an important job to do, we're all synchronised. Each person on set as important as the next.

And just like that. It's wrap time. Everyone is exhausted. I am so grateful to my wonderful team, the makers of dreams. And I can't wait for the the next one.

We were incredibly fortunate to partner with the incredible talent below that enabled our dreams to become a reality:
